About

Hello, blessings .... and welcome to knowing a little about me...
As I faced the various adventures that Soul and life brought me, I experienced many holistic modalities to facilitate the healing I needed. This inspired me to move from a position in the legal field, that I loved, into the field of natural therapies and the wellness industry.
As well as being qualified as a Reiki Master/Teacher and Accredited Reiki Treatment Practitioner I am professionally qualified in the fields of Holistic Counselling, numerous Vibrational Medicines, LoveWorksTantra, Pranic Healing, Mayan Abdominal Therapy and various forms of bodywork. I feel truly blessed that I am in a position to also teach many of these therapies to others so that they may bring to their lives, healing, and personal empowerment as they explore the world of natural healing and effective holistic therapies ... an area where Reiki truly shines.

Journey

A little more about me...
The quest to know Self began in 1992 as I journeyed within my personal Dark Night of the Soul, like many before me, and many after me will in their own way.
Reiki came at a time of great despair, as a gift from my sister in 1994 and it has become an integral part of my everyday life, both personally and professionally, and I find it to be my 'go-to' modality for most situations. I also love using it as the means to access the wisdom held within me.
I undertook Reiki II in 1995 and my first dance with Reiki 'Teacher' occurred in 1999 but it wasn't until 2005, after spending time with a number of Reiki Teachers, that I felt adequately experienced and worthy enough of the title Reiki Teacher.
From that moment, teaching Reiki has given me immeasurable joy; creating and hosting courses for kids and teens; the youngest being 4 years of age and the eldest in his 80's, as well as teaching Reiki I, II and III to adults. .
As mentioned above, I am qualified across many natural therapy fields and this came about after experiencing numerous more Dark Nights of the Soul... each one I celebrate now but oh so not at the time!
A lot of my life adventures are common to many and some are incredibly rare, challenging me at levels that I would never previously have believed I could overcome.
In the gaining of wisdoms through those adventures, I now find that I am able to truly BE with another in acceptance and non-judgement, a pure space that allows for their self-validation, personal healing and self-empowerment.
I have been blessed to journey with 3 beautiful children (who practice Reiki daily) and I revel in the fact that I can approach all of life's adventures with a Holistic toolkit and skill set. It has served me well.
P.S I am a passionate collector of quotes and questions :) ...
I believe we reach the heights we do because we stand on the shoulders of those who have gone before us and their wisdom holds us in good stead. These quotes cover the walls and door of our toilet. I found this to be a wonderful way to introduce wisdom, inspiration, and guidance to children without it being from 'mum', and clients love the inspiration this gifts them also.

Vision

My vision for Reiki is that the awareness of its subtle,yet profound, capacity to bring grace, peace, and healing to one's life becomes universally known and practiced.

I would love to see it taught in schools, practiced in hospitals and prisons, and gifted into the hands of those in need of healing but do not have access to the funds to enable that.
