Background

About
I grew up in Queenscliffe, a small coastal town in the Bellerine Peninsula, Victoria. As a young child I had an innate desire for helping others. An affinity with animals, a quality inherited from my father. Following in my mother's caring nature looking after neighbours, I pursued a career in nursing. A path I followed for 40 years. Including a 20 year chapter in Aged Care and 16 years within the Correctional Health environment working in both female and male prisons. Completing a Post Graduate Diploma in AOD in 2012/13. Acceptance & Commitment therapy/ Mindfulness 2014.
Journey
My interest in natural/alternative therapies really blossomed following the birth of my daughter and son. I found complementary medicine worked in a wholistic manner alongside conventional medicine for our young family using naturopathy, homeopathy, aromatherapy, Bach Flower remedies, chiropractic & Bowen technique. My journey in esoteric healing started in 1997 following the passing of my uncle Burnie. He and his wife Sjaan were inspirational and shining lights. Motivating me to make meditation and yoga an important aspects of my life.
I went on to complete Spiritual/Personal Development & Guided Healing Advance Practice techniques with Catherine Weber-Martin in 2001. Numerology in 2002.Initiated in Reiki Usui Shiki Ryoho Level I in 2003 and Level II in 2021 with Reiki Master Anne Marie Baker. I have been using the Australian Bush Flower essences personally since 2017 and became an Australian Bush Flower Essence Practitioner in 2020 & Certified Teacher 2023. Animal Reiki Master Teacher 2024 RHA. Meditation Teacher Certification 2025.
Vision
My vision is to see others using Reiki within the family unit. Teaching our children about taking responsibility for own our lives and managing our own energetic balance. Working towards heart-mind connection, physical wellness and spiritual awareness. With empathy and compassion in relation to the effects and consequences of negative attitudes and behavior upon others. Reiki, Australian Bush Flower Essences and Meditation practice being acknowledged by conventional medicine and used widely within schools, care and welfare settings for children and animal companions.
